Any help is appreciated!

Our relationship with the community is what sustains our ministry. Our partnership with churches, civic groups, organizations and individuals help us maintain the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of our residents.

Your help with everyday supplies and materials reduces our monthly budget expenses. We always need non-perishable food and personal hygiene supplies. A friendly visit is always welcome; there is no need to call. If time is an issue, monetary donations offset the 50% loss we face each month providing our services.

The Guardian Angel Program:

Guardian Angels sustain the care our residents deserve. Most residents earn a Social Security income ranging from $604 to $733 a month.  The sliding scale 305 8th Street charges barely cover the cost of their daily needs such a home, meals, transportation and care.  Based on our estimation, 305 8th Street must raise $550 per month per residents to sustain programs.  Donors contributing $200 per month are considered Guardian Angels. Donors may choose to be a guardian angel of one of our residents.  Many of our residents do not have family and appreciate new friends.

You can help supplement our residents' care by becoming a Guardian Angel and setting up a monthly donation below.
